About Brake
Brake is a national road safety charity working to prevent road crashes, through education and campaigns, and caring for people bereaved and injured on roads.

“Through our work supporting people affected by crashes, we’re all too aware of the devastation caused to families and friends by dangerous driving. People who call our helpline include distraught parents whose kids have been killed by risk-taking drivers; young people whose lives have been changed forever by serious injury; drivers who have killed their own friends or family members through thoughtless actions behind the wheel.

But we also know that road crashes are preventable. Brake is appealing to all drivers - young and old - to play a crucial part in making our roads safer by making a Pledge to Drive Safely.”

Brake runs the FedEx & Brake Road Safety Academy, a project that trains volunteers (including many affected by road crashes) to hold hard-hitting, straight-talking discussions with groups of young people in schools, colleges and youth clubs. To get involved in the project, email academy@brake.org.uk.

About the AA Driving School
AA Driving School is the only national school to exclusively use fully qualified driving instructors. Driving is a skill for life and Learn the AA Way gives a holistic approach to developing the right attitude towards being on the road. It supports the practical in-car lessons, through online tuition, including lesson plans, animations, quizzes and tests to do at home. We believe that while learning to drive and after passing your test - the right attitude is all important to being a safe and responsible driver – www.AAdrivingschool.co.uk
